When we joined tabling we had never realized what all we would be doing!!! Attending a Republic Day celebration function after passing out of school seemed a far cry, that too in a village near Jaipur. But here we were attending the function at the Block Primary School at Bindayaka, nearly 30 km from Jaipur, a school, JHRT 181 is supporting since last six months. Along with the tablers a few enthusiastic wives, Divya Singhania, Tina Kothari, Mridul Khaitan, Paridhi Rajgadiya also attended the function.

Even the ladies are equally enthusiaatic about tabling in JHRT-185- Divya, Tina & Mridul doing the prize distribution at B.P. School, Bindayaka

The local elected representative, along with the Sarpanch of the village were present. The students had prepared a mesmerising cultural program for the occasion of which they were in practice for a number of days. We enjoyed the Rajasthani folk dance and music at its natural best. Later the tablers organised painting competition for the children of classes 1,2,3 and 4. There was questionnaire for the standards 5 & 6 and for the students of 7 & 8 we had organised essay writing. Students were provided with paper, pencil and crayons by the table. A total of 300 students, almost the full strength of the school participated with full enthusiasm and high spirits. The prize giving ceremony was led by the tablers’ wives along with very energetic Apoorva, daughter of Tr. Anish, who at this young age is always very enthusiastic about all our tabling activities. The school administration, led by Mr. Sharma, the principal, was delighted by the support extended by JHRT.
